Wondering where to ski and what the conditions might be like? The club sponsors a subscription mailing list to allow cross country skiers in Rochester and the surrounding area to exchange information on snow conditions, places to ski, and impromptu trips. This may prevent you from driving to bad snow or convince you the drive is worth it when you see the grass in Rochester.
This list only works if each of us is dedicated to take a few minutes to send a report of the snow conditions after we have been skiing.
Both club members and non-members can subscribe to the list. Club members are not automatically subscribed to this list even if you provided an e-mail address on your membership form. You must subscribe yourself following the directions below. Once subscribed you will stay on the list until you unsubscribe yourself. You are removed from the list, however, if there are repeated delivery problems with your e-mail address.
As an anti-spam measure only those subscribed to the list can distribute messages. You must send messages from the same e-mail address that you used to subscribe. The list of subscribers is never distributed to any organization.
The club sends notices of meetings and up-coming events to the mailing list.
You subscribe by sending an e-mail to majordomo@rochesternordic.org with the BODY:

To remove yourself from the list at any time send e-mail to majordomo@ggw.org with the BODY:

Once you have subscribed, you will automatically receive e-mail from your fellow subscribers, and you can send your skiing reports, tips or questions to the whole group by sending a message to reports@rochesternordic.org.
